DIGITAL BIOLOGY / PYTHON
A hands-on introduction to the Python programming language. The first half is hands-on learning of Python syntax including basic data structures, loops, conditionals, and I/O.
The second half involves writing functional Python code that parses standard sequence files and performs transcription and translation using built-in Python functions.
Includes access to a generative AI mentor who will walk you through the principles and labs involved in the course.
